AP DICOM Storage Server as a service application (daemon) and implements the following DICOM Services as an SCP/Server:
- Verification service (C-ECHO, DICOM Ping)
- Find service (C-FIND) - Patient and Study Query
- Move service (C-GET, C-MOVE) - Patient and Study Retrieve
- Storage service (C-STORE) - Full Level 2 DICOM Storage Service for all standard SOP classes
- Storage Commitment service
- Modality Worklist service (MWL)
- Modality Performed Procedure Step service (MPPS)
- Full Role Selection support (None, SCU only, SCP only, SCU and SCP)
- Administrative options, including permissions for both users and AE titles
- Apply custom aliases to AE titles
- On-the-fly transfer syntax re-encoding based on established association
- HL7 Listener and more
