DICOM VIDEO

DICOM Video is a software package which is installed in an Off - The - Shelf, OTS host PC - either a Medical computer or a standard one. DICOM Video allows recording and streaming of video or stills from medical devices such as endoscopes (Gastro, ENT, broncho etc.), obstetric Ultrasound modalities, surgery room cameras and others, and then, after optional editing, transfers them to the PACS.

With a few clicks you may:

  • Get patients' demographic data (MWL, Web, Manual)
  • Capture medical stills  or Record medical video
  • Save them (as recorded or edited) in DICOM format in PACS

Technical specification

  • Use DICOM 3.0 standard which makes it compatible with all DICOM supporting PACS.
  • Includes DICOM modality Work List (MWL) to ensure exact matching of patient information.
  • Supports all standard Compressions to reduce PACS storage.
  • Supports video streams as long as 120 minutes.
  • Allows automatic split of video into short sections (to be efficiently displayed by viewing stations).
  • Supports standard video signals such as 4K, 8K, HD, DVI, S-Video and Composite recording of true color video streams up to 60 fps.
  • Includes an intuitive, easy to use, video editor that enables saving just the important sections.
  • Enables hand free operation - includes a foot switch to start/stop recording and to capture still images.

DICOM Video may be fully integrated into existing workflow, reporting system and IT environment in a way that makes the end-user attention almost redundant. A few mouse clicks is all that is needed.
